Hey BeBes!
For those of you who don’t know, I’m not exactly known for my baking prowess. In fact, “baking” and “me” usually don’t go hand-in-hand. Between my demanding job as a director, the whirlwind of motherhood, and let’s be honest, the general exhaustion that comes with adulting, finding time to whip up elaborate desserts is a distant dream.
But every now and then, a craving hits. And lately, it’s been all about peaches. So, I decided to challenge myself to make something delicious without spending hours in the kitchen. Enter: the dump cake.
Why Dump Cake?
- Simplicity: It’s literally in the name! You “dump” ingredients in layers and bake. That’s it. No fancy mixing, no precise measurements (unless you’re feeling ambitious).
- Versatility: Fruit, cake mix, butter – that’s the magic formula. You can use almost any fruit you have on hand: apples, berries, cherries… the possibilities are endless!
- Time-Saver: Perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends. Minimal effort, maximum deliciousness.

Serve warm and enjoy! This easy peach cobbler dump cake is delicious on its own, but it’s even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
