Easy Recipe: Peach Cobbler Dump Cake

Easy Recipe: Peach Cobbler Dump Cake

⭐

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Hey BeBes!

For those of you who don’t know, I’m not exactly known for my baking prowess. In fact, “baking” and “me” usually don’t go hand-in-hand. Between my demanding job as a director, the whirlwind of motherhood, and let’s be honest, the general exhaustion that comes with adulting, finding time to whip up elaborate desserts is a distant dream.

But every now and then, a craving hits. And lately, it’s been all about peaches. So, I decided to challenge myself to make something delicious without spending hours in the kitchen. Enter: the dump cake.

Why Dump Cake?

  • Simplicity: It’s literally in the name! You “dump” ingredients in layers and bake. That’s it. No fancy mixing, no precise measurements (unless you’re feeling ambitious).
  • Versatility: Fruit, cake mix, butter – that’s the magic formula. You can use almost any fruit you have on hand: apples, berries, cherries… the possibilities are endless!
  • Time-Saver: Perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends. Minimal effort, maximum deliciousness.

Prep Time

10 minutes

Cook Time

45 minutes

Serves

8

Ingredients

  • 2-3 (15 ounce) cans sliced peaches in syrup
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into thin slices
  • cinnamon

Steps

1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2

Pour two (15-ounce) cans of sliced peaches (including the syrup) into the prepared baking dish.

3

Evenly sprinkle one (18.25-ounce) box of yellow cake mix over the peaches.

4

Cut 1/2 cup of butter into thin slices. Dot the top of the cake mix evenly with the butter slices.

5

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and bubbly

Serve warm and enjoy! This easy peach cobbler dump cake is delicious on its own, but it’s even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
